AOTD:  Rick Carlson:   a no brainer with out much thought (on the vote that is)  come to think of it no thought at all by Snapper as to what was required of him to attend golf league this week.   A nice leisurely 2 hour plus drive in traffic from home got Snapper to Crouse road ready to turn into the course lot….lets do our 1^st ready check….Ready?….coffee?  check….bourbon for later?  Check….cigar for later?  Check…..tees ball marker and divot repair tool in pocket?    Shit!…..oh well….Golf Hat?   Double shit!!!!!…..Golf shoes? Shitshitshit…Golf clubs?  WTF!!!!!!!….who goes golfing without clubs…. Every excuse to this being considered and discarded by Snapper prior to the AOTD nomination almost became fruitless as no nomination came… Hey guys can I get a golf ball over here?   Silence…Further Solicitation from the other end of the balcony also brought Yawns (I see now how this league tradition is dying) finally someone mumbled a nomination… then an ambivalent 2^nd and then Jamie comes to my defense come on he hasn’t been here in weeks… he probably took the clubs out to get the spider webs off… thankfully I got the ball & scorn on a narrow vote with nearly a quorum abstaining…

AOTD:   Steve Shang Peltier…….Accepted responsibility for placing the blank par 3 greenie stakes at the 2 par three holes…. Fulfilled one half of said responsibility placing one and just keeping the second for himself escorting it all the way back to the cart barn.  Which is more than he did with his scorecard.  That was inadvertently found on the boat while litter was being collected, stuffed into the seat cushion after he went home.  ASSHOLE!

Honorable mention goes to Jason Carrier for taking a practice put during play causing his ball to be struck by his partners putt which of course therefore had zero chance to be made and was bounced off line and further from the hole than it would have….. Nice try with the “cant get AOTD for playing golf” defense but I rule practice puts during play are illegal and not therefore playing golf…oh thank you Shang…

POINT OF ORDER:  Larry Cooper please do not keep score for awhile….I was shocked to see an official scorecard turned in that Timmy K would have been proud of… apparently a carry over mindset  from recent outings and tournaments in an attempt to calculate individual net scores completely useless to me ,  it had slashes and numbers everywhere  appearing to be some kind of modified stableford scoring written in Dutch… please Larry its league now …you can do this …
